Our Goud Story
I grew up in Mississippi, where my mom was styling spreads long before we even knew the word “charcuterie.” She was the ultimate hostess — turning simple ingredients into something beautiful that brought people together. Watching her create those tables is where my love for food, family, and presentation really began.

That spark only grew after college, when I started planning and hosting brunches and dinner parties of my own. Friends noticed the little details — the way food was styled to feel elevated but approachable — and soon I was helping plan baby showers, birthdays, and special gatherings. I loved showing people that luxury could be accessible: that something as simple as a beautifully styled board could make a big statement without breaking the budget. That’s a core part of Goud Thymes today: luxury for less, because everyone deserves to experience something beautiful.

Now, that passion has grown into a business I’m proud to call my own. As a Black-owned business rooted in family, Goud Thymes reflects both where I came from and where I am now. My husband and I are raising two little ones (ages 1 and 3), who eat more vegetables than we ever did — proof that presentation matters. My husband used to sneak shredded cheese out of the bag, but now, thanks to my creative charcuteries, even he eats with his eyes first.
That’s the magic of Goud charcuterie: it invites everyone — kids, adults, picky eaters — to try something new and discover they love it. #TheGoudWay
